Plan My Study :: Testimonials

Parth Rajan from NOIDA- B.Eng (Hons)Electronic Engineering, WIT, Ireland . Now working With Analog Devices ,Ireland full time.

I had completed my class 12 with 82 percent and my father wanted me to do Engineering at a world class institution. He approached the people at AWE and they have helped me every step of the way till I got here. WIT is a wonderful place to live and study. We had a small class and the teachers were great. After my graduation I had three job offers from global tech giants and I finally accepted a offer from Analog Devices in Ireland where I now work as a Graduate Layout Engineer.

A father Speaks: Mr. D. M. Sharma, Deputy Commissioner
When my son passed from class 12 I decided that I will do everything in my power to educate him at a top institute in Europe or Canada. Since I am a Government servant I wanted a combination of quality and affordability. A colleague told me about Asia World Education and I must say that they have been wonderful people. Not only did they help me zero in on the best course for Parth at WIT they also helped secure a scholarship worth over 16,000 Euros.

I specially remember when the visa of Parth was stuck as he was below 18 and needed a local guardian in Ireland, the people at AWE helped him get in touch with a fellow Indian who consented to be his guardian till he reached the age of 18. I went personally to Ireland to WIT to drop my son at the Institute and was amazed to see the accommodation. It reminded me of five star hotels in India. AWE not only arranged travel from Airport at Dublin to Waterford but also did all the troubleshooting till Parth was settled. Parth has now got full time employment with a handsome salary and his green card is under process. My younger son has joined WIT this year .I cant thank them enough and would recommend then to anyone looking for advice and guidance for higher studies.

Abhishek Vembadi, B.Eng ( Hons) Biomedical Engineering ,2011
Admission with Scholarship of Euro 9000

My experience here in Ireland so far has been great. The people over here are very friendly and amicable. Education over here is good and there is a lot of emphasis to industry oriented education so that students have a better opportunity of getting jobs.

AWE has been life changing for me right from the first call I made to them this summer. It handled all the aspects of foreign studies, right from application form , scholarship to life insurance, with due care and attention. All the work was done within specific timeframes without me worrying about falling behind any deadlines. I would definitely recommend AWE to anyone who aspires to study abroad( In fact I already have !).

Liju Joseph from Kerala -WIT Ireland
WIT is a great institute to study at and it is trying to get the university status soon. Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) is the largest such institute outside Dublin and as the sole higher education institution in the South East it provides education up to doctorate level. Providing a supportive learning environment for its students is central to WIT's ethos and the range and quality of student support services is excellent.

Good quality housing is a priority and the Institute currently owns and/or manages sufficient very high quality student apartments to meet the demand. To enhance the living conditions and study facilities of students, WIT administers a high-tech Manor Village accommodation complex in Waterford city, access to which is provided by means of the Institute's WIT smart card system. One of the services provided to enhance study capabilities is Internet access to every study workstation in the complex.

Ahsan Shiraz Shamsi from Lucknow -BBS in International Hotel Management ,Shannon College of Hotel
Management ,Ireland - 2010

I received an enormous amount of help from AWE. In order to choose which course was most suited to me and then, in turn, to attain my place in Shannon College of Hotel Management, I received guidance counseling and advice. AWE, on my behalf sorted all my Visa requirements which really helped me. They also helped me to arrange my online interview with the college, paying great attention to detail. For my IELTS tests, they helped me to register and to find out all the necessary information.

AWE was so committed in helping me to achieve what I wanted. Everything was so simple and straightforward, and I know that without their help it would have been a far more stressful process. Ms. Rekha Bansal was incredibly helpful. One of my favorite things about the service that AWE provided was that everything I was told was complete truth. There were no gimmicks or lies. If I was told something would be a certain way, I could trust, 100 % that it would be. This made the process so easy and stress- free, and that, along with their dedication toward each person, is why I would definitely recommend AWE to anybody interested in applying.

The BBS in International Hotel Management at Shannon is a very business orientated course which I really like. The Professional Practicals that we have every week are incredibly interesting and diverse. Everybody in the college, both teachers and students has been so warm and welcoming and answer every question I have. I found it really easy to make friends as everyone was so nice and outgoing. I am living in the student accommodation provided by the college itself where we have been allotted fully furnished cottages and also have Leisure centre for free for Shannon college students.

Most of the students live near each other within the campus which brings more fun get a chance to know other nationalities and of course make good friends. There is a great social scene in Ireland and the nightlife is quite good. There is always something fun to do and we are never bored. I am very happy with my decision to come and study in Ireland and I could not have done it without the assistance I received from AWE.

Aditi Diwan from M.P -BA International Relations, Mount Allison University, Canada
I studied in Mayo College Girls School till the 10th in Ajmer and in the 11th shifted to the Calcutta International School to do my A levels (the British system). Due to this it was easier for me to go abroad that stay in India. England was too expensive and I found that most universities in England do not give scholarships at the undergrad level. I did give the SAT 1 exam however I was busy studying for my A levels and didn't really study. I then realized that the US was really expensive and the sort of universities I was interested were going to cost about 25 to 30 lakhs a year, and to get serious financial aid I would have to get really good SAT 1 and SAT 2 scores. I then started to look into Canada and through the MacLean Magazine rankings I found Mount Allison.

I was not interested in going to a large university such as University of Toronto, Mc Gill, or University of British Columbia. I wanted a small liberal arts university for my undergrad with a personalized atmosphere. After corresponding with Mount A for some time I found that they wrote back to me really fast, answered all my questions and were very helpful compared to the other universities I had written to. So i decided to apply and then the final choice came down to picking between Acadia University and Mount A and I picked Mount A because they offered me more money and seemed to be more suited to what I wanted to study. Mount A offered me academic credit for my A levels and I did not have to give TOEFL as I did A level English Literature. In my first year I got a 2500 $ bursary from the university for which I had to keep up a GPA of 3.5 every year and a 1000 $ bursary for international students the conditions for which were easier. I lost the 2500 in my 2nd yr and I still get the 1000$, every year I also apply for a bursary from the university based on financial need and I always get about 1000 to 1500$. International students can now work off campus and so it is easier to find jobs, however if you are limited to working on campus then finding jobs is more difficult. No one should expect to be able to support themselves with the money you make from a job, you will usually only be able to earn enough for living expenses, or groceries or things like that.

Mayura Manerkar, B.S.c - Biology Mount Allison University, Canada
I am doing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. For the past three years, I have been taking mainly science courses as per the requirements of a Biology degree. I have found it to be a good experience till now. The style of education is such that you have to think for yourself quite a bit. Most exams are set up in such a way that there is no previously memorized answer. Many times, I have found myself sitting in the exam hall and answering only after thinking and analyzing the problem and coming up with a probable answer based on what has been taught in the course. I have had an entrance scholarship. The university offers both entrance scholarships and department scholarships.

However, to be offered and to maintain the scholarship, you need to keep a relatively high grade average. As for work, there are on-campus jobs offered. I have been a teaching assistant for the Math department in the past and found it to be a satisfying job. As for off-campus work, New Brunswick allows international students to work off campus for a certain number of hours per week while maintaining a full course load.

Ishita Sannon, from Delhi - MBA student @ Dublin Business School Admission with scholarship.
The one and only reason I am doing a MBA from Ireland is AWE. After my BBS form UK I came back to India and after a few years decided to study for a MBA in Ireland . For some reason best known to them the visa office had issues with my application for a MBA. It was with the guidance and trust from AWE that I was able to resolve all the issues including the visa interview and come to Ireland for my MBA at the IBAT college. AWE gave me constant encouragement and had faith

Rishabh Sharma, from Allahabad - MBA student @ IBAT College.
Admission with Scholarship .

Even after my great performance in Boards with over 90 % marks I was disappointed that there was no big scholarship for humanities . AWE however lobbied for me and highlighted my achievements to UCD and amazingly enough I was offered a 50 % scholarship with the Economics department funds. My brother is already studying VLSI in Ireland and I think its a great decision for us. All thanks to AWE for our success.

I had been working for many years in various capacities from to VP in Industry but always rued the lack of a quality masters degree. I was skeptical due to my age about getting admission . AWE not only reassured me but also helped me every step of the way to get admission to NCI which is a great institution. I was unaware that there is a route called recognition of experienciallearning whichenaled NCI to convert my years in Industry into academic credits . I am now studying for my masters in marketing in one of Europes most multicultural capitals and enjoying every moment of it .
